My client is seeking an experienced Head of Digital Transformation & Technology to lead its IT strategy, operations and digital transformation agenda.

This senior leadership role will shape the organisation’s technology direction, lead a high-performing team and work closely with executive-level stakeholders.

Head of Digital Transformation & Technology – Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver the Digital & Technology Strategy.
• Oversee IT operations, infrastructure, security and resilience.
• Lead enterprise architecture and technology modernisation.
• Drive digital transformation and process improvement.
• Manage technology budgets, vendors, procurement and resources.
• Ensure strong IT governance, risk, compliance and data protection.
• Build and develop a high-performing technology function.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation and wider public sector.

Head of Digital Transformation & Technology – Essential Experience:

• Significant senior IT leadership experience in a complex organisation.
• Strong experience managing budgets, vendors, resources and risk.
• Proven track record delivering digital transformation and strategic technology programmes.
• Strong project/programme management experience.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Third level Technology-focused qualification and a clean Category B Driver’s Licence.

Head of Digital Transformation & Technology - Desirable Experience:

• Public sector or regulated-environment experience, knowledge of public procurement, and strong understanding of IT governance, risk and compliance.
